Successfully defended commercial mortgagee against tortious interference with contract and fraud claims through trial and appeal in the First Department. Laner & Samer, Inc. v. Goldfine, Commercial Division Law Report, Vol. III, No. 5.

Won dismissal in alleged conversion of property (European artwork) action based upon defective jurisdiction. Popper v. Podhragy, 1998 WL 841247 (S.D.N.Y.)

Successfully litigated shareholder breach of contract claims against international public company in an AAA proceeding to decision winning damages award and attorney fees.

Obtained preliminary injunction on behalf of a public company against former employee for violation of non-compete and non-disclosure agreements in New York County Supreme Court.

Awarded summary judgment for breach of contract on behalf of printing company against magazine publisher in New York Supreme Court.

Successfully prosecuted commercial mortgage foreclosures on behalf of private mortgagee to sale, prevailing on motions for summary judgment, in Kings, Queens, Nassau, Suffolk, Orange, and Washington Counties.

Defeated motion to dismiss in class action lawsuit for odometer fraud against major automotive manufacturer and achieved class status certification and, ultimately, favorable settlement in SDNY.

Defeated application for preliminary injunction in shareholder derivative action and had complaint against company and board of directors dismissed in New York County Supreme Court.

Obtained preliminary injunction on behalf of group of elders and family members against nursing home operator and owner preventing eviction and summary termination of services agreement in New York County Supreme Court.

Successfully defended media events company against theft of trade secrets and related claims through trial in New York County Supreme Court. 

Defended clients in upwards of two hundred individual depositions in civil RICO defense of major newspaper union members in SDNY.

Successfully represented estate in turn-over proceeding through depositions and trial in Suffolk County Surrogates’ Court obtaining positive determination in connection with non-genuine signatures on Florida real estate deed.

Obtained pendente lite relief of 25k monthly maintenance, among other financial reliefs, for wife in divorce proceeding in New York County Supreme Court.

Successfully defended individual family members against claims and cross-claims of finance conversion resulting in no monies returned in Kings County Supreme Court.

Awarded summary judgment on behalf of advertising agency against major NYC real estate developer for breach of contract in New York County Supreme Court.

Obtained full custody of three children and favorable financial resolution on behalf of mother in Stamford Connecticut.

Obtained favorable mortgage reconfiguration in foreclosure defense for Greenwich residents in Stamford Connecticut.

Awarded summary judgment on loan obligation in Bridgeport Connecticut.

Represented New York advertising company in all aspects of acquisition of Florida agency; negotiations, due diligence, corporate transaction documents, draft and preparation of stock purchase agreement and senior management employment agreements, counseled in on-going business and corporate matters.

Represented travel industry association in corporate stock restructuring, shareholder meetings, strategized with Board of Directors, effected corporate merger and restructuring.

Represented management through union negotiations and reviewed and revised subsequent labor accord for a New York printers union.

Represented publishing/public events  company in commercial lease negotiations and deal.

Represented Internet company in content license and independent contractor agreements.

Represented telecommunications company in draft and preparation of bundling, agency, NDA, non-compete and sundry other business transactions.
